Margot Murphy Breast Cancer Program
Address: 730 Polk Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94109
County: San Francisco
Phone: (415) 674-4780
Shanti’s Margot Murphy Breast Cancer Program augments hospital-based care and reduces the barriers that uninsured and underinsured women face accessing, maintaining, and completing treatment. Our primary goal is to reduce the barriers to treatment including language and cultural barriers for monolingual immigrant populations and ultimately, reduce breast cancer mortality rates in San Francisco. No other program in San Francisco offers as wide a range of linguistically and culturally competent 1-on-1 breast cancer support services from time of diagnosis through active treatment, including in-home and end-of-life care.
